Sažetak
The DM degradability of four cultivars of subterranean clover (Trifiolium subterraneum L.): Woogennelup, Mt. Barker, Dalkieth and Trikkala was studied in experiment by using four rumen fistulated rams (in sacco technique). During the pre-experimental period the fistulated rams were fed ad lib. with mountain hay. Subteranean clover cultivars were grown on experimental field of the Faculty of Agriculture University of Zagreb at 123 m altitude. The subterranean clover samples for the degradability of DM were taken from the first cut in the beginning of flowering. The experiment was designed as two factorial CRD. Cultivar Mt. Barker had significantly the highest degradabality (62.6%, P<0.05). The average degeradability of cultivars Woogennelup, Trikkala and Dalkieth were 55.2, 53.9 and 53.4 % respectively. The differences were not significant. However, the fistulated rams had significant influence on the degradability of tested subterranean clover cultivars.
DM chemical analysis of the cultivars were done and presented in the paper.
