Sažetak
Galvanization wastewaters contain large amounts of zinc ions, which should be removed before its emission in drainage systems. After application of classical wastewater treatment methods, small amounts of zinc ions bound on the natural ion exchanger, zeolite (clinoptilolite). Effect of zinc ions bounding on thermally modified zeolite samples was investigated, as well as zeolite hydrolysis effect on its ion exchange properties.
