Sažetak
This paper presents a summarized overview of the results of researches into switching overvoltages on a new transmission line with reduced dimensions in the 400 kV network of Croatia.
The researches have been based on a comparative analysis of the results of the mesurements performed in the live network and results of computer simulations performed on a model in the case of switching the unloaded 400 kV transmission line by a SF6 circuit breaker.
