Sažetak
Rapid prototyping (RP) can de defined as group of methods for rapid model manufacturing i.e. manufacturing of the prototype of the product in scale using 3D CAD (Computer Aided Design) and it is also known, although inaccurately, as computer aided manufacturing – CAM, layered manufacturing and solid freeform manufacturing. Regarding overall rise in application of these methods in metal casting this paper is intended as a review of the most popular RP processes.
