Sažetak
Non-destructive testing (NDT) is one of the important quality control tools especially for demanding technological processes where safety and requested quality of the outputs are matters of significant concern. Non-destructive testing also serval assessment of structural integrity and condition monitoring of vital infractures in nuclear plans, petrochemical plants, offshore etc. The frequent working conditions during NDT are ionizing radiation, ultrasound, chemical substances and polluded working environment- To improve working conditions, education and infrastructure standardization, the undergoing project entitled "Support for infrastructure standardization and biomonitoring in the field of NDT" is described. The project has three main objectives (i) education of workers in order to elevate their effectiveness in arising own working conditions with less health risk (ii) accumulation of appropriate information to establish preventive ods in order to provide data on the health risk factors in working conditions of NDT. As the first data are already availab,e, thanks to the professional and enthusiastic contribution of all participants, the professional and enthusiastic contribution of all participants, the contemporary achievements for Croatian NDT community are outlined. Upon the evaluation of present approacj for health risk assessment, te project tends to the improvement of radiation safery program due to the combined esposures of NDT personnel.
