Sažetak
The paper outlines some ideas on teaching geometry at technical faculties, as well as various possibilities and advantages of the application of Mathematica in teaching, and gives some examples of the use of Mathematica visualizations in teaching geometry at the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Zagreb. The examples are extracts from the lectures, internet pages and sudents' projects on algebraic ruled surfaces and Gaussian and mean curvatures.
