Sažetak
The paper deals with the procedure of 3D external gear models development by means of AutoCAD Mechanical 2004 DX software package. In accordance with the chosen software modelling possibilities, 3D models of helical gear and straight bevel gear are performed as the combination of a surface teeth model and solid model of gear body. This hybrid gear model satisfies for some purposes of engineering visualization.
