Sažetak
Natural stable isotope ratis for carbon, hydrogen and oxygen depend on the origin of studied chemical compound. This is the basis of authencity of food and especially alcoholic beverages. C/C analysis of ethanol contained in wines from different regions in Slovenia allowed detection of addition of sugar, aswell as the enviromental and climatological conditions of wine production. Interesting result in agreement with isotopic fractionation rules for geographical origin of the samples were obtained. According to the EU regulations and OIV protocol Slovenia is also establishong a special database of isotopic parameters in Slovene winesin order to control their quality, chaptalisation and geographical origin.
