Sažetak
The quality of the polyetilen granulation produced in the factory DINA - Omišalj, Croatia, is strongly dependent on the variations of the polymer in the low-pressure separator. The manual control was unsuitable and therefore the automatic control of the polymer level in the low-pressure separator was designed. The designed control system, together with various monitoring functions, was implemented with a programmable logic controller from Siemens
