Sažetak
This paper gives a comparison of the hailstone diameter in the cases when hailcell seeding was interrupted by Air Traffic Control ban, with the diameter of hailstone found on the ground after the continuos seeding. The comparison is based on the hailfall data collected at the launching stations of Croatia and Slovenia during several years. The comparison results indicate that the percentage of number of launching stations which had occurrence of hailfall with average diameter of hailstones ranging from 15 to 50 mm is higher in the cases of banned seeding than in cases when hail suppression service was able to carry a continuos seeding
