Sažetak
A software tool has been developed as result of a graduation thesis. This tool has substantially helped in producing timetables for lectures at the postgraduate study, where the students enjoy high freedom of choice among the numerous offered courses. The aim is to produce a timetable of lectures such that respects all the limitations the lecturers have due to their other obligations, to avoid collisions from the standpoint of lecturers and to minimise the collisions from the standpoint of students. Genetic algorithm has been applied and the performances were very satisfactory.
