Sažetak
The effect of degradation on poli(vinyl acetate) (PVAc) during hydrolysis to poly (vinyl alcohol) is significantly greater with higher molecular weight PVAc than with that of lower molecular weight. There is no data, in literature however, of comparative studies of alcoholysis on commercial samples of PVAc.
