Sažetak
Linear corelation between 4delta deuterium isotope effect, (DIE) and chemical shifts of carbon atom in position 2 in 2 a-j demonstrate evidence for remote hyperconjugation. This is consistent with the Cipelak hyperconjugation model of diastereofacial selection.
