Sažetak
Radiocarbon and pollen analyses of a sediment core from the Karst Lake Prosce (National Park Plitvice) in Yugoslavia revealed human settlements in the investigated area from about 5500 BP up until now. Comparison of prehistoric and historical data with the occurrence of NAP (non- arboreal pollen) cultural indicators in the lake sediment resulted in a very good agreement.
