Sažetak
The ST breakthroughs introduce "new literacies", new ways of thinking and in spite of the fact that scientific activities require a high degree of knowledge, ST breakthroughs act as equilizers, they create a chance for resetting to zero technological and economical advantages accumulated in some centres. It may seem a paradox that a highly elitist activity and science is certainly elitist, is truly revolutionary and tends to increase democracy. As the rate of ST breakthroughs increases, so do the opportunities for creating new centres and this is extremely important and progressive because everynew centre brings something original and valuable to the world.
