Sažetak
Thermal protection in building enables the protection of building construction, prevents the construction damages, ensures heating energy savings and provides better living spaces. New regulations are aiming towards more rigid standards in the thermal insulation of buildings. That requires a considerable growth of thermal insulation production and calls for the invention of new materials. The paper gives the overview of the modern thermal insulation materials, their application in buildings and the analysis of their characteristics.
