Sažetak
Benzoylecgonine is afirst hydrolisis product of cocaine. Its electrochemical properties together with the properties of the synteteic drug amphetamine have been studied a both mercury and solid electrodes. Owing to the ester group, Benzoylecgonine gives raise to a reductive voltammetric peak at a hanging mercury drop electrode within the potential interval from -1.01 V to -1.20 V vs. Ag/AgCl(KCl) electrode. The voltammetric response depends of the concentration of Benzoylecgonine and pH of medium. Amphetamine is electrochemically inactive at the hanging mercury drop electrode. Amphetamine can be irreversible oxidized at graphite and platinium electrodes at potential about 1.2 V vs. Ag/AgCl(KCl) electrode.
