Sažetak
In 1981 bridge Ivanja Reka over the river Sava was finished. It has been operational for only 20 years since then before first signs of deterioration appeared. This was due to poor and unconscious erection process of mostly prefabricated elements which allowed for water percolation in combination with winter road salting and as a result reinforcement corrosion and concrete cracking. Research work was done to determine the extent of the damage and soon after the rehabilitation project was made. It included the removal and replacement of the deteriorated upper parts of the superstructure, which were the leveling concrete, transverse concrete joint and some of the prefabricated slabs, together with corroded reinforcement, and the replacement of the complete cantilever slab with the pedestrian way. The concrete removal was done with ConJet Robot equipment using high pressure hydro-demolition machinery. The rehabilitation is up to this date nearly finished and this paper will give an insight in the way the work was done.
