Sažetak
Subacute exposure of mice to gasoline inhalation upregulated metallothionein I+II expression in hippocampal glial cells, in subventricular ependyma, perivascular mononuclear lymphatic cells in the brain, in alveolar epithelial cells and in the kidney pointing to the protective role of MTs at the sites of damages. Simultaneously in the brain decreased the concentration of , Cu++ and Fe++, and increased the concentration of Cu++ in the kidney.
