Sažetak
In the night of 16– 17 September 2004, a 181.2 mm total length (Lt ; weight W = 100.5 g) specimen of the oceanic puffer L. l. lagocephalus was caught by commercial trawl, 7 nautical miles from the coast (off the Molunat Bay, southern Adriatic, Croatian coast, 42°26'N, 18°26'E ; Fig. 1) at approximately 70 m depth. The specimen was measured and stored in the ichthyological collection of the Institute of Oceanography and Fisheries in Split (catalogue number IOR 296). With the present note a further tetraodontid species, the oceanic puffer, L. l. lagocephalus (Linnaeus, 1758), can now be added to the Adriatic fish check-list.
