Sažetak
The elastic spring clip is used for fastening the rail to the base (slipper, reinforced concrete base), and is therefore one of the most important elements of the track. In this analysis we compared one elastic spring clip from each of two manufacturers: Pandrol (UK) and Vossloh (Germany) as these are mostly commonly used on today's railways. The spring clips we compared were the Pandrol type e-2000 and Vossloh type SKL-1. Besides the different geometrical features, the main difference between these two spring clips is that the tightening force of SKL-1 is accomplished by tightening the screw which is the main part of the assembly, with defined moment, while the e-2000 does not have an element that requires tightening. The numerical analysis was conducted in the FAE program ABAQUS on a 3D model of the spring clip, with the same loading conditions as found in use. We compared the elastic features and bearing capacity through comparison of the stresses and deformation.
