Sažetak
In the period from March 1984 to March 1985 the changes in the plankton primary production were investigated in respect to ecological factors of four localities (Sakadaš Lake, Kopačko Lake, Sunčani chanel and Hulovski chanel) in the Special zoological Reserve of &laquo ; Kopački rit&raquo ; . Physical and chemical factors of water were measured. In the period of investigation (till the end of August 1984) the waters of the Reserve were negatively influenced by industrial and other waste waters from the Baranja area, which directly untered the Sakadaš Lake through the dam &laquo ; Kopačevo&raquo ; . They spread through Sunčani chanel to distant Hulovski chanel and to the Kopačko Lake. The results of the investigations showed a rich composition of phytoplankton (267 taxa) the most numeroun were the representatives of the group Chlorophyta (77 taxa or 42.7% followed by Chrysophyta (77 taxa or 28.8%) in which 64 taxa or 83% belonged to the group Bacillariophyceae, while 13 taxa or 17% belonged the groups Heterokontae and Chrysophyceae. The representatives of Cyanobacteria were present with 28 taxa or 12.7%, but they were quantitatively significant in August when they formed the &laquo ; water bloom&raquo ; in the Kopačko Lake. The share of Euglenophyta was 34 taxa or 10.5%, Pyrrophyta had 13 taxa or 4.9% and Mycophyta only one species or 0.4%. The main share in the phytoplankton communitywere those of Chrysophyta and Chlorophyta. The representatives of Chrysophyta (Bacillariophyceae) were dominant in winter months with 5-12 taxa while in summer the representatives of Chlorophyta (19-52 taxa) prevaited. The greatest number of pgytoplankton taxa was in the Kopačko Lake (233), the least in the Sakadaš Lake (195 taxa). According to the coefficient of community it is obvions that the Sakadaš Lake had the smallest floristical similarity with the other investigated localities. The results of saprobiological analysis of phytoplankton showed that the water of the Sakadaš Lake was in this period the most often polluted, belonging to III or II-III class of bonity, that is to alpha-mesosaprobic or beta-alpha-mesosaprobic degree, particularly in the time when their waste waters of Baranja enter through the dam &laquo ; Kopačevo&raquo ; . On the localities of the Kopačko Lake, Sunčani and Hulovski chanel itwas established the greatest plankton primary production was most often in the surface layer, decreasing towards the depth of 1 m. A regular increasing of chlorophyll-a from spring to summer and decreasing from summer to winter 1984, took place in the Kopačko Lake and Hulovski chanel. The maximum summer concentrations of chlorophyll-a were conditioned by the maximum development of the Chlorophyta representatives and by the appearance of water bloom of Cyanobacteria. The Sakadaš Lake and connected Sunčani chanel differed in the concentration of chlorophyl-a from the Kopačko Lake and Hulovski chanel. The changes in plankton primary production were conditioned by the changes in physical and chemical factors with the predominant influence of the fluctualing Danube water level and waste waters from the Baranja area, particulary in the Sakadaš Lake in the period from March to August 1984.
