Sažetak
In the summer and autumn of 1989 the qualitative composition of phytoplankton as well as some ecological factors were investigated at two different ecological localities of the Drava river: &laquo ; ; ; Zimska luka&raquo ; ; ; (20.0 r.km) withouth any streaming of water and &laquo ; ; ; Pampas&raquo ; ; ; (22.2 r.km) where the river has a naturally fast flow. The water of the investigated localities differed in measurable physical and chemical parameters. In all, 109 phytoplankton taxa were identified: 94 taxa from the locality &laquo ; ; ; Zimska luka&raquo ; ; ; and 90 taxa from the locality &laquo ; ; ; Pampas&raquo ; ; ; . According to the results of saprobiological analysis of phytoplanktonthe water of the river Drava belonged to II and II-III class of bonity. In conclusion we can say that the ecosystem of the river Drava needs a better and more adequate protection.
