Sažetak
Detailed description of situation in the field of coordination of welding activities is given. Task, functions and required qualitifications of personnel entrusted to carry the job of welding coordinator are commented. These functions are specified in the EN 719 norm, but they are also closely related to the norm EN 729 where the conditions to be met by the facility in which welded products are fabricated are defined. A comment on the interaction of these two norms with known series of norms ISO 9000 and EN 290000 is presented.
