Sažetak
Adria is the largest lithospheric fragment in the Central Mediterranean region that has played a key role in the development of the surrounding mountain chains (Dinarides, Suuthern Alps, Apennines). Earlier available paleomagnetic data were suitable to characterize the displacment of Adria in a very general way and were not sufficient to supply satisfactory answers to some questions.
