Sažetak
Time to market, quality and cost are the three most important factors when developing software. In order to achieve and retain the leading position in the market the developers are forced to produce more complex functionalities, much faster and more frequently. In such conditions it is hard to keep high quality level and low cost. This article is focused on the reliability aspect of quality as one of the most important quality factors to the customer. Special attention is devoted to the reliability of the software product being developed in project overlapping conditions. The Weibull reliability growth model for predicting reliability of the product during development process is adapted and applied on historical data of the sequence of overlapping projects. As a conclusion a few useful tips on reliability modeling for project managing and planning in project overlapping conditions are presented.
