Sažetak
Tilmicosin, a new semi-synthetic macloride has a good activity to App, Pasteurella multocida, Bordetella bronchiseptica and MPS. In this paper the results of investigations on the efficacy of this antibiotic in the chemoprophylaxis of App and Mps pneumonia and atrophic rhinitis in weaned pigs are described. The first results of the usage of tilmicosin in Croatia are in agreement with the data on the efficacy of this product in the control of respiratory diseases in swine published in the world up to date.
