Sažetak
It is a well-known fact that the demand for drugs is always higher than the actual payment ability. In almost all countries in the world the expenses for drugs grow faster than GDP and make up 10-20% of total health care costs. The use of drugs in the Republic of Croatia in too high and it is not rational in creasing the pressure of health care costs on the depletet state budget.
