Sažetak
Some new molybdenum and tungsten carbonyl complexes containing the ligands bis[(diphenylphosphinyl)methyl]phenylphosphine oxide (RPPh) and bis[(diphenylphosphinyl)methyl]ethyl phosphinate (RPOEt) have been prepared. The synthesis and structure of Co(II), Ni(II) and Cu(II) complexes with the same ligands were reported earlier. On the basis of analytical, spectral and magnetic measurements data the isolated complexes are formulated as: M(CO)_3(RPPh), [M(CO)_3(RPPh)]_2 and M(CO)_4(RPOEt) (M = Mo or W). In the IR spectra of the binuclear species rather low absorption bands (two strong bands in the 1710-1760 cm^-1 region) show the presence of bridging CO groups. The angles calculated from the intensity ratios of the CO absorption bands indicate that all the complexes are cis isomers.
