Sažetak
Adsorption of CdI2 on mercury electrodes at three different ionic strengths (1,4 and 6 mol/L) was studied using differential pulse polarography and square wave voltammetry. As the clasical proof of the adsorption is the existance of two peaks, conditions for their simultaneous apperance are investigated. In the optimum concentration range of the surface active species, the effect is higly influenced by the water activity, applied voltammetric tehnique and the parameters of each applied. At higher electrolyte concentrations and longer electrolysis times, the main peak becomes more pronoinced. At extremly higher ionic strengths, however, only the postpeak is to be expected. The region where the two peaks are noticed and characterized is significantly enlarged by means of deconvolution, the resolution enhancement technique.
