Sažetak
Staircase voltammetry of surface reactions is characterized by a "quasireversible maximum". The relationship between peak currents and scan rates is not linear, except for totally irreversible reactions, and the response may entirely vanish if the reaction is fast and reversible. For surface redox reaction, the equivalence of staircase and linear sweep voltammetrics can not be obtained by the variation of the current sampling fraction.
