Sažetak
For the mainstreaming of ICT and e-learning in educational arenas, national and international learning resource infrastructures have to be build. Today, a plethora of repositories storing digital educational materials with different functionalities and features are accessible via the Web. Nevertheless, it can be problematic to access and integrate this rich wealth of resources into one’ s own educational practice. Therefore, more research on the general information-seeking needs and behaviours of educators are needed. This knowledge would help inform the design of systems that more adequately address actual needs. To contribute to the stated research agenda, the authors will conduct a survey among Croatian secondary school teachers, investigating their use of, and attitudes towards electronic teaching resources. Based on the gathered results, recommendations for the creation of educational resources will be provided as a crucial element for taking further steps towards building a national educational infrastructure.
