Sažetak
Present development and deployment of ITS has been based on technical specifications of its sub-systems, and little attention was dedicated to drivers, as key elements of transport system. With advanced information and communication technologies (ICT) it is possible to adjust content and distribution type of information to the driver's requirements. In this paper it is described what type of service is customized to different profiles of drivers and in what way travel information affects driver's behavior. Also, the key elements of travel information are described, as comparison of different strategies of their distribution to users.
