Sažetak
Apart from enormous destruction and human losses, the war in Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina also brought the largest tragedy of displaced people and refugees since the Second World War. Experts from the Croatian Psychiatric Society have outlined a model of psycho-social help, based on their knowledge and everyday experience, which is to be implemented in collective resident centres for the displaced and refugees. This aid project has been devised in cooperation with Croatian and foreign experts as well as with UNHCR-OCM Croatia experts who, in line with their role, have demonstrated a great deal of interest in its implementation. A review of information relating to the monitoring of the project suggests that the activists taking part in its implementation have abided bx the underlying ideas defined by the model.
