Sažetak
The association constants for the formation of complexes between the macrocyclic polyethers bis(4-tertbutylbenzo)-18-crown-6 and bis(3, 5-di-tert-butylbenzo)-18-crown-6 and alkali metal cations in methanol, dimethyl-sulfoxide and acetonitrile have been determined at 25°C potentiometrically and conductometrically. The results obtained have been compared with those obtained for the polyether dibenzo-18-crown-6. It has been shown that besides the relative size of the internal hole of the macrocyclic polyether and the metal ionic diameter, the complex formation is affected by steric factors and by the physico-chemical properties of the solvent.
