Sažetak
The aims and the methodology of the project "English and Croatian terminology in the field of aviation" led by professor Maja Bratanić (Dept. of Aeronautics) are presented. The aims include establishing the core ESP vocabulary for the related disciplines, reaching the most acceptable terminological solutions in Croatian, and preparing bilingual English-Croatian glossaries (and eventually a comprehensive English-Croatian and Croatian-English Aviation dictionary). The research and lexicographic work is based on methods of corpus linguistics and it involves active student participation.
