Sažetak
The oxide superconductors HgBa2CaCu2O6+delta and HgBa2Ca2Cu3O8+delta were prepared from metal oxides or Ba2CaCu2Ox and Ba2Ca2Cu3Oy precursors and HgO. With strong precautions taken to avoid moisture and carbon dioxide absorption, both methods are suitable for the preparation of Hg-based oxide superconductors. Regarding better grain contacts the advantage is on the side of the precursors prepared from metal nitrates.
