Sažetak
The effect of cefodizime on the secondary humoral immune response in rabbits was investigated. Comparative studies were also carried out with cefotaxime and synthetic compond HBW538. Rabbits were immunized s.c. with human gamma immunoglobulin (HgG) in incomplete Freund adjuvant. For the measurement of anti-HgG in sera, an immunoradiometric assay (IRMA) was developed. The amounts of anti-HgG in serum specimens were calculated by the application of the parallel line method. Cefodizime exhibited immunostimulating effect.
