Sažetak
As one of the oldest processes used in metal-working technology, flattening process can be numerical modelled. In past time this metal forming process has been based on the analytical solutions as well as experimental investigation. In this paper a finite element procedure of plane-strain rolling-flattening problem is presented. Large elastoplastic strains using updated Lagrangian Hencky formulation are modelled. Friction problem using friction layer technique was simulated. The obtained results with well known results are compared
