Sažetak
This report describes software design for Rotor frequency measurement unit, RFM. This unit is part of large project, which is related for development of the speed and current controller for slipring induction motors in control systems such as crane systems, steel-work and another heavy duty material handling systems. This controller employs tachogenerator and incremental encoder as speed feedback device. Rotor Frequency The measurement unit is a tool for another one (third) feedback device type. Estimating the rotor voltage frequency, RFM unit produces information of actual motors speed. Because there is no any mechanical device on the rotor shaft, the controller offers very suitable and effective sensorless speed control. In this paper routines of main program, start routines, AD (Analog to Digital) conversion routines and serial port interrupt routines are described.

Napomena
The software design is developed according to agreement between Faculty of electrical engineering and computing in Zagreb (FER), department of electric machines and drives (ZESA) from one side, and company ABB, from Vasteräs, Sweden. It is related to hardware design of same unit (DATX130) completely developed, designed and tested from the same research group (document ZES 537).
