Sažetak
Expertise and commissioning for the four crane controllers ASTAT&reg ; ; ; for steel mill factory AVESTA is done. Expertise is considered because of the wheel-on-the-rail mounted gantry crane drive. Very rough atmosphere in steel mill factory with steel dust caused considerable problem when fast acceleration and retardation time is requested. This was the reason why usual fast commissioning procedure couldn't' be done. Some soft programs routines are applied in other to minimize delay in start and stop phase.
