Sažetak
The State Geodetic Administration has taken the initiative to develop the National Spatial Data Infrastructure (NSDI), which will form the basis for providing public sector information in a wide range of application fields within the emerging geoinformation market. So as to meet the criteria for Croatia’ s accession to the European Union (EU), it is intended to set up the NSDI in compliance with EU information communication technology standards – particularly with respect to the eEurope Programme and INSPIRE. A portal with a catalogue service is used to PUBLISH metainformation referring to these information resources. The catalogue is publicly available and may be used to search for and FIND the existing web mapping services. A number of web based applications (i.e. html based WMS clients) have been provided, which may be used to freely access the content services. For this purpose the respective URL is used to BIND the web mapping service to the application.
