Sažetak
A rectangular patch antenna with a Gunn diode integrated in a rectangular opening in the patch is proposed as oscillating antenna for spatial power combiners. This configuration gives a better defined loading for the active device. The overall Q of the antenna is reduced, thus allowing a wide band frequency tuning by changing the bias voltage. Injection locking properties are investigated throughout the tuning range. A relatively wide locking range with a good locking gain is achieved.
