Sažetak
This paper presents a protocol to, named Bidding protocol, that allow multimedia applications to negotiate and renegotiate on resource reservation with the network. It enables a flexibility that application can adapt to different network resources on-the-fly. This protocol works with Differentiated service model but can be extended easily to other service models. An implementation is constructed to evaluate teh design performance.
