Sažetak
In this work the stability problem of thin-walled beam-type structures with opened profiles is analyzed and the focus is placed on compressed structures where pure torsional buckling may occur. Numerical approach, based on the finite element technique, is presented and the accuracy of obtained results is tested through the comparison with the analytical values. Material is assumed to be linear elastic.
