Sažetak
Rapid development and new ideas of implementation of fuzzy logic in solving technical problems open the question of the possibilities of use fuzzy set theory in HV protection tecniques. With the objective to determine the possibilities of implementation of fuzzy logic into the digital fault locator (DFL) methods, fuzzy algorithm for fault type determination was developed. Simulation model of faulted HV line is developed. This model is used in development of fuzzy algorithm as well as for testing. Fuzzy algorithm is tested by simulating the occurance of various fault types on different fault point along the HV line fed from both ends, varying the fault resistance and source impedance. Fuzzy algorithm has significant advantage over classical solution of this problem, what changes basic approach to further development of new DFL algorithms.
