Sažetak
The paper deals with a coupling problem of a radiating antenna placed close to a signaling cable. This aspect is examined within frames of COST 286 Joint Technical Action (JTA1) dedicated to interference influence of GSM phones on cabling systems of vehicles. JTA1 participants have formulated a generic problem concerning the antenna/cable coupling in the near field. The wire is placed at fixed position in a metal enclosure. A tuned dipole antenna transmitting 900 MHz signal is moved along the wire at a short distance from it. The voltage induced in the wire termination is the subject of a treatment. The phenomenon is studied for various lengths of the cable, for different distance between the cable and a metal part of a vehicle and for different positions of the antenna. A few different aspects have been taken into account to work out the problem step by step. At first the aspect of a wire above a ground plane in an open area is considered. Then enclosure problems with resonances are studied. At last cumulative effect of several sources is regarded. Very good agreement of modeling results obtained in the first phase of simulations by three separate groups of researches has been achieved. Measurement verification of modeling procedures has been accomplished conforming simulation results.
