Sažetak
This paper examines how the microstructure, in the production of tinplate, modifies the formability properties of the tinplate through the subsequent cold-rolling and annealing processes. The continuous annealing of tinplate allows for time and cost savings to be made in comparison to the batch annealing process, has become more common. The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the influence these annealing parameters on discontinuous yielding processed by continuous annealing. Paper examines the changes in tensile (yield point phenomenon) and metallographic properties that can be achieved by varying the parameters. Analysis of the effect of temperature heterogeneities in continuous annealing on the mechanical and metallographic properties state on material: T4, T5 according to AISI/ASTM A 624/98 has been done.
