Sažetak
The processes of textile fabric production influence the changes of the basic yarn properties. In the paper were investigated the changes of yarn count, yarn breaking force, breaking elongation, work to rupture and tenacity after the processes of knitting and finishing. The samples of single jersey fabrics were knitted on circular knitting machine using the cotton yarns in three different counts - 12, 14 and 20 tex. From the measurement results was obtained that the count of yarn unknitted from the raw and finished fabric decreases. The tendention of decrease is also seen in the values of breaking force (up to 23 %), while the yarn breaking elongation increases for the samples from the raw knitted fabric up to 22 %.
