Sažetak
The use of coiled tubing in drilling operations in the world is today a normal situation. Through the development of any technology there is a possibility of optimisation. Available coiled tubing diameters have been increased three times and materials quality almost doubled. Through optimisation of unit selection, dimensions and material quality selection it is possible to achieve significant savings in many situations. This paper will point out parameters that determine the optimal choice of coiled tubing, drilling fluid, down hole motor and bit when drilling a well.
